Tickets for the upcoming Comedy Festival in Las Vegas as well as tickets for an upcoming concert from Elton John are on sale throughout the week ending September 27 as compiled by TicketNews.
Leading off the week’s onsales is a concert from music legend Elton John whose tickets for his concert in New York City went on sale Tuesday. On sale Friday are tickets to several concerts from Bob Dylan, including shows in Calgary and Vancouver. In the onsales for Saturday are tickets to catch hit tween Nickelodeon stars Nat & Alex Wolff in concert, with shows in Philadelphia, New Orleans, and Baltimore. Also on sale Saturday are tickets for upcoming concerts by Yes, with stops in New York City and Columbus, and The Smashing Pumpkins, who have a show in Washington, DC on sale.
In the onsales for Friday is a chance to catch several of the country’s most popular comics at the Comedy Festival in Las Vegas. Among the shows on sale are appearances by Ellen DeGeneres, Dane Cook, Canadian improve troop Kids in the Hall, and Tracy Morgan from “30 Rock.”
Rounding out the weeks onsales are tickets to several upcoming sporting events. In the onsales Thursday are tickets to the Chicago White Sox’s first round Major League Baseball play-off appearance, as well as tickets for game 1 of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim’s potential league championship series appearance. Also in the onsales for Thursday are tickets for the New York Knicks upcoming NBA season, while tickets for the upcoming season of the Boston Celtics are in the onsales for Friday.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
