Former Soundgarden and Audioslave vocalist Chris Cornell has expanded his solo venture through November. The singer-songwriter announced plans for a 13-city tour of Canada, following his previously announced promotional tour with Timbaland.
The trek through the provinces will kick off November 6 at Red Robinson Theater in Coquitlam, BC, and wrap November 23 at Metropolis in Quebec City, QC. Highlights include a November 10 performance at the Edmonton Events Centre in Edmonton, AB, and November 21 gig at Kool Haus in Toronto, ON.
Cornell’s U.S. tour is set to begin October 17 at Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO, with the first of eight shows with acclaimed musical producer Timbaland. The two are touring together to promote Cornell‘s upcoming third solo album, “Scream,” which Timbaland produced.
Produced by Verizon Wireless as part of the carrier’s VCAST music service, the “Scream” launch tour pairs Cornell and Timbaland’s live concerts with same-day in-store Meet and Greet appearances. Five additional shows are also slated for the West Coast jaunt, during which Cornell will perform solo sets.
