Tickets to upcoming performances from Lil’ Wayne as well as tickets for Def Leppard, Poison, and Cheap Trick’s upcoming joint concert tour are on sale throughout the week ending March 7 as compiled by Ticket News.
This week’s onsales kicks off with tickets to catch country crooner Kenny Chesney in concert. On sale Friday morning, tickets will be available for Chesney’s upcoming show in Omaha. Also in the onsales for Friday are tickets to catch teen sensation Taylor Swift in concert in Charleston, SC, as well as tickets for several upcoming shows from Sugarland in Atlanta and Minneapolis. Rounding out the Friday onsales are tickets to see the reunion of the fictional band Spinal Tap in Columbus, OH. Stars of the cult classic film, including Christopher Guest, Michael McKeon, and Harry Shearer, will be participating in the event.
Saturday’s onsales include tickets to catch several of today’s hottest bands and artists in concert. First up, country star Keith Urban has tickets on sale for his tour stop with Taylor Swift in Auburn Hills, MI. Rapper Lil’ Wayne has shows in Omaha and Chicago on sale Saturday morning, while Fall Out Boy has a show in New Orleans among the onsales.
Tickets for Milwaukee’s annual Summerfest are on sale, and joining the all-star line-up for this summer is Bon Jovi. Tickets for their Summerfest performance go on sale Saturday morning. Wrapping up the week’s onsales are tickets to catch a trio of classic rockers together on one tour. Def Leppard, Poison, and Cheap Trick will be embarking on a joint tour this year. Among their concert dates on sale Saturday are stops in Tulsa, Chicago, and New Orleans.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
