Renowned football coach, Jimmy Johnson, will be the keynote speaker at the upcoming Association of Luxury Suite Director’s (ALSD) conference and tradeshow, scheduled for June 27 to July 1 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX, arguably the greatest market for luxury suites in America.

Not only does Dallas boast the new, state-of-the-art Cowboys Stadium, but it’s also home to the American Airlines Center and Pizza Hut Park, and in close proximity to Texas Motor Speedway and the Rangers Ballpark in Arlington. According to the ALSD Web site, Dallas has “nearly double the number of suites of any other city in the country.”

Dallas’ strong market, coupled with Johnson’s successful tenure as Cowboys head coach, made him a natural choice for ALSD President Bill Dorsey. The annual conference is in its 19th year.

“Originally, we were looking at several candidates but Jimmy Johnson, with his ties to Dallas and his national reputation, clearly stood out. When he accepted the offer, we jumped at the chance,” said Dorsey.

Johnson is a beloved figure in Dallas. After taking over as Cowboys head coach in 1989, he quickly rebuilt the struggling franchise and went on to win back-to-back Super Bowls in 1992 and 1993.

Johnson will make his keynote speech on June 30 at noon.

Other notable figures who will be making speeches at the conference include current Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips, and legendary pitcher Nolan Ryan.
