The daily tour recap is back after the long holiday weekend with new itinerary reports from the likes of veteran musical duo Steely Dan and up-and-coming pop rock group Paramore, as compiled by TicketNews on September 9.

Starting off the recap, Steely Dan will keep its musical party on the road with a second leg of Rent Party 2009 Tour dates this fall. The U.S. trek picks up again with concerts on October 12-13 at Paramount Theatre in Seattle, WA, end continues at least through November 8 at Northrop Auditorium in Minneapolis, MN.

As with the duo’s summer dates, fans in cities hosting multiple-night engagements will get to experience some classic albums in full, including “Aja” and “The Royal Scam.” Those runs include October 20-21 at the Civic Auditorium in San Jose, CA, and October 23-25 at Masonic Hall in San Francisco, CA. More Steely Dan dates are expected in the near future, while the first presales for announced dates start this weekend.

Paramore and orange-haired lead singer Hayley Williams hit the tour trail at the end of this month for a 19-date U.S. venture, to be followed with an additional 10 international tour dates. The pop-rockers will end the year with a batch of European dates, starting on November 29 at Helsinki Ice Arena in Helsinki, FIN, and ending December 18 at Wembley Arena in London, ENG. Early next year, Paramore will head Down Under for five performances at that nation’s various Soundwave Festivals. For the meantime, the group is on native soil with shows set from September 29 at Fox Theater in Pomona, CA, through November 1 at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN.

The next leg of dates starts November 11 at Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, CA, and has dates confirmed through December 8 at Austin Music Hall in Austin, TX. The reggae-rock troupe also has engagements inked along the way for November 18 at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL; November 22 at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT; November 27-28 at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, NY; December 1 at Bayfront Park Amphitheater in Miami, FL; and December 6 at the Verizon Wireless Theater in Houston, TX.

Ian Anderson, frontman for the classic rock group Jethro Tull, has announced plans for a new fall tour of the U.S. The musician has 20 concerts scheduled, beginning with an October 6 show at Pabst Theater in Milwaukee, WI, and concluding with a November 15 performance at Martin Woldson Theater at the Fox in Spokane, WA. Jethro Tull, meanwhile, has its own tour plans on the calendar for early 2010. More than 20 concerts have been penciled in from March 5 at Royal & Derngate in Northampton, ENG, through April 1 at Sheffield City Hall in Sheffield, ENG.

Brett Dennen will follow a mid-autumn European run with a new round of North American concerts. His year-end schedule picks up November 12 at Cannery Ballroom in Nashville, TN, and ends December 12 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA. Dennen’s solo itinerary includes stops on November 23 at The Guvernment in Toronto, ON; December 1 at People’s in Des Moines, IA; and December 11 at The Marquee in Tempe, AZ. The musician will also play a handful of concerts with Grace Potter & The Nocturnals, such as shows on November 17 at 9:30 Club in Washington, DC; November 20 at Terminal 5 in New York, NY; and December 3 at Ogden Theatre in Denver, CO.
