It’s rare that there would be a make up game in September between the Chicago White Sox and Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field, and even more rare that the game would not sell out, but a report by ESPN exposes just that. The two teams play today, September 3, and both had legitimate playoff aspirations at the beginning of the season but have limped into the month well out of the chase for playoff spots.
