For the second year in a row, TicketNetwork has been named one of the “Tech Top 40” in Connecticut, an honor bestowed upon the state’s leading technology companies by the Connecticut Technology Council (CTC).

The software and online ticket exchange company, founded by CEO Don Vaccaro, was one of 12 software companies in the state to make the top 40 by experiencing percentage revenue growth in the triple digits over the past 4 years.

TicketNetwork, the parent company of TicketNews, was not alone in recording explosive growth. According to the CTC, the 40 companies generated annual revenues of between $4 million and $3 billion, with a median revenue average of $30 million. TicketNetwork’s annual revenues top $90 million.

The CTC’s Tech Top 40 is sponsored by certified public accounting firm UHY LLP, and the celebrated companies were honored during a gala Thursday, October 22, at the Chevrolet Theatre in Wallingford. The winners were selected from six fields: advanced manufacturing; energy and environmental technologies; IT services; life sciences; new media, internet and telecom; and software.
