Tickets for upcoming concerts from Better than Ezra, as well as tickets for upcoming play-off games from several NFL teams, are on sale throughout the week and weekend ending January 4 as compiled by TicketNews.
Like last week, this week’s onsales is a bit light in high profile events. But, that doesn’t mean there aren’t several to take an interest in. First up, multiple NFL teams have their first round of play-off tickets among the week’s onsales. NFC North champion Minnesota Vikings have tickets on sale for their opening round of the play-off, while AFC East champs New England Patriots look to continue their history of play-off domination with their own first round tickets on sale. Rounding out the week’s football onsales are tickets to see the NFC West champion Arizona Cardinals as well as see the AFC North champion Cincinnati Bengals in their first round of play-off games.
Starting off the week’s concert on sales is a chance to see rockers Better than Ezra in concert. The popular ’90s band is hoping for continued success with the release of their latest album and their upcoming tour. They have a concert in their hometown of New Orleans among the Saturday onsales. Their fellow rockers The Used also have a concert among the weekend onsales. The alternative rockers will be playing an upcoming show in Buffalo, NY, with tickets on sale Saturday morning.
Comedian Harland Williams has tickets on sale for his upcoming stand-up show in Columbus, OH this week, while fellow comedian Patton Oswalt has tickets for his own upcoming performance in Boston among the weekend’s onsales. Finally, Broadway fans will want to take note that the latest block of tickets for Disney’s hit musical Mary Poppins go on sale this week.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
