Live entertainment venues in the Philadelphia area appear to be surviving the slow-downed concert season, according to the Philadelphis Daily News. Ticket sales have been strong for several shows at the Mann Cener for the Performing Arts and the Dell Music Center, including a recent show by indie music darlings Arcade Fire. “Philadelphia’s such a great music market. It goes back to the infancy of the touring business. So as tough as the economics are, if it’s priced right, people will still come out to see the show,” John Page, who oversees operations at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center, told the Philadelphia Daily News.
