Taylor Swift tour adds new dates after ticket sell-outs in Los Angeles, Boston

After selling out several major arena and stadium dates last weekend, Taylor Swift is gearing up for additional onsales in the same markets.

Tickets for the country starlet’s August 23-24 stand at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, reportedly sold out in a matter of minutes when the shows went on sale December 3. Another sell-out followed during December 4 onsales for Swift’s June 25 performance at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA, located just outside of Boston.

Onsales for the new August 27-28 block at Staples Center start this Friday, December 10. Meanwhile, a fresh June 26 show at the 68,000-capacity Gillette Stadium goes on sale Saturday, December 11. Tickets are again priced $25 to $79.50 in Los Angeles, and $39.75 to $85 in Foxboro.

According to Swift’s PR machine, Los Angeles sold out in two minutes and Foxoboro sold out in five minutes. Scattered seats are still available for the sold-out shows, though, as a search conducted around 4:30 p.m. (EST) on December 7 turned up single tickets (and, in Foxboro, two-ticket blocks) on Ticketmaster.com.

Swift’s Speak Now Tour follows her latest chart-topping album of the same name. At the moment, she’s scheduled to perform about 60 concerts across North America, while her international tour plans will take her through a total of 19 countries.
