TicketNetwork‘s recent data-sharing deal with TicketsNow, and StubHub’s decision to pull out of online affiliate marketing, are among the items discussed on the latest edition of TicketNews TV, hosted by correspondent Kim Crandall.

TicketsNow and TicketNetwork’s data-sharing agreement will offer real-time updates of more than $1.5 billion worth of tickets across the two exchanges, which will help resellers avoid duplicate ticket sales.

Starting tomorrow, December 1, StubHub will cease paying commissions to online marketing affiliates ticket sales, a move the company said will allow it to concentrate on “strategic relationships with key partners.” The company was paying commissions of between 4 percent and 8 percent, depending on the ticket order.

In concert news, Prince and Bon Jovi both recently announced tours, with Prince’s starting in mid-December and Bon Jovi’s in early 2011.

These and other topics will be among the topics brokers and other ticketing professional will be talking about at the next Ticket Summit, hosted by TicketNetwork and scheduled for January 12-14, 2011, at the Waldorf=Astoria hotel in Manhattan.
