PRESS RELEASE: “TicketNetwork Relocates Corporate Headquarters to South Windsor, CT”
VERNON, CT (TicketNetwork) May 26, 2011 – TicketNetwork, the leading online ticket exchange for events and innovative technology solutions provider for both ticket buyers and sellers, today announced that it has purchased the Gerber Scientific building and property in South Windsor and will begin transferring its employees and operations to the new location immediately.
The new headquarters at 83 Gerber Road are visible from I-84 and feature 194,000 square feet of office space, ample room for TicketNetwork’s current employee count of three hundred twenty-five workers. In addition to purchasing the building, the real estate transaction includes approximately thirty acres of land. TicketNetwork will be one of South Windsor’s top ten employers. The company has expanded exponentially since it was founded in Vernon, growing from just two employees in 2002 to one hundred-fifty in 2008.
“TicketNetwork’s expansion efforts have been fully embraced by the Town of South Windsor, in fact, the Town was one of six Connecticut municipalities that approached us with an offer to move our business in mid-2010,” said Don Vaccaro, CEO, TicketNetwork. “We accepted and are thrilled to relocate to our offices to a business-friendly locale which will allow us to house all of our employees under one roof.
