Pop-R&B queen Beyoncé will celebrate the recent release of her fourth studio album “4” with a four-night concert block at the Roseland Ballroom in New York City.
Announced late last week, the concert series will take place August 14, 16, 18 and 19 at the 3,200-capacity venue. The evenings are billed as “4 Intimate Nights with Beyoncé” and will feature the singer performing her new album in its entirety.
Public ticket sales for the concert block begin today, August 10. The sales for each performance date are respectively staggered to start on the hour, every hour, between 1 and 4 p.m. Eastern. Presales are similarly staggered and begin only an hour before each individual sale opens to the public.
Prices for Beyoncé tickets are a flat $99 for each concert night, with $17 in additional fees for a $116 total, according to Ticketmaster.com.
The Roseland Ballroom shows are presently the only events on Beyonce’s promotional calendar for “4,” which debuted atop the Billboard 200 in June. More details about the series are available on Beyoncé’s official Web site.
Beyoncé’s last major tour followed the 2008 release of her previous album, “I AM… Sasha Fierce.” The North American leg of that outing began with a brief spring 2009 tour of Canada and was closely followed by a summer 2009 tour across the United States.
Beyoncé’s international dates for the I AM… Tour stretched through the early months of 2010.
