PRESS RELEASE: “Brown Paper Tickets Serves Up Modern-Day ‘Golden Ticket'”
Seattle, WA. (PRWEB) August 26, 2011 – Brown Paper Tickets announces the “90 Days of Free Events” sweepstakes, granting one winner a 90-day golden ticket good for any event offered in the Brown Paper Tickets’ system between October 3, 2011 and January 1, 2012. The contest will run the last week of August with the winner announced on September 10.
The Grand Prize winner may choose from approximately 10,000 events posted on the Brown Paper Tickets site during the winter, across a mind-boggling range of categories. The winner could fill a single week by starting with a roller derby bout, heading out to the theater, then taking in a mixed-martial arts class, and finally finishing with an arts party or music festival. A daring winner may even choose some of the more eyebrow-raising events such as the World Quidditch Cup or adult workshops.
“Since we were kids, the idea of a golden ticket was magical. This is our version. Our factory isn’t so interesting as our events, so we decided to just go for it. Ninety days of going to as many events as possible is just too much fun. Good luck!” says Brown Paper Tickets CEO Steve Butcher.
People will have the chance to win this magic, golden ticket experience by going to http://www.BrownPaperTickets.com/90days and purchasing any ticket to any event listed on BrownPaperTickets.com between August 25 and August 31.
Need some ideas for what to do if you were to win? Brown Paper Tickets employees will share their fantasy ticket wish-lists that they’d choose they won this contest. (They can’t. Not eligible.) The Brown Paper Tickets blog can be found on the homepage of http://www.BrownPaperTickets.com.
