Guns N’ Roses is expanding its 2011 tour plans into America, where frontman Axl Rose and his hard rock bandmates will perform a trio of shows this fall.

While more dates could be added in the future, GNR’s fall tour features only three U.S. concerts at this point in time. Confirmed concerts are lined up for October 28 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fl; October 29 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL; and November 12 at Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.

Public ticket sales for the Florida shows began last Friday, September 9; the Missouri gig goes on sale this Friday, September 16. There is only minor variation in ticket prices, with average pre-fee face values set between $39.50 and $79.50 at all three shows, according to Ticketmaster.com.

Leading up to the American leg, GNR will complete a two-week tour of South America and a four-date run of Mexico. Combined, those outings will stretch from October 2 in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, through October 23 in Monterrey, Mexico.

Regardless of how many additional dates may be added into the gaps of the U.S. itinerary, the fall tour remains the first real effort within the United States to support the long-awaited 2008 release “Chinese Democracy,” though the band has toured internationally over the past three years.

The last time Rose and his new GNR mates performed on U.S. soil was for a single show: a 2010 headline set at Rock ‘N Rev. Prior to that, the band restricted their North American efforts to a 13-date tour of Canada in the earliest months of 2010.

As fans of the band will know, the face of GNR has changed drastically over the years to the point where Rose is the only original member still performing with Guns N’ Roses.

After falling out with many of his previous bandmates, the volatile frontman has filled and refilled the ranks over the past decade with many new musicians, like drummer Franker Ferrer and lead guitarist DJ Ashba. Aside from Rose, one of the most senior GNR members still playing in the band is keyboardist Dizzy Reed, who came on board in 1990.
