Country musician Brad Paisley has lined up a 20-date tour calendar to launch the New Year. Recent “American Idol” winner Scotty McCreery and The Band Perry will provide support throughout the playfully titled Camobunga! World Tour.
Spanning just about two months, the first leg of the tour canvasses U.S. cities from coast to coast. The jaunt kicks off January 12 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI, and concludes March 3 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, KY.
The early 2012 Camobunga! calendar includes gig stops on January 21 at Pepsi Center in Denver, CO; January 28 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, NV; February 11 at Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, WA; and March 1 at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD.
Only one onsale — for a January 19 show in Kansas City, MO — is presently listed on Ticketmaster.com. Those tickets are available to the public starting today, October 21, with face values ranging from $24 to $58.75. Future announcements regarding ticket onsales will be available on Paisley’s official Web site.
Paisley’s 2012 tour announcement follows the release of his ninth studio album, “This Is Country Music,” earlier this year. The album’s latest single “Camouflage” partially lends its name to the upcoming Camobunga! Tour.
The musician is a regular fixture on country music’s touring circuit. Paisley’s previous efforts on the road include the H2O World Tour in 2010 and its 2011 tour extension.
