Tickets for upcoming concert dates from Paul Simon as well as tickets to Jeff Dunham’s stand-up tour are on sale throughout the weekend ending October 3 as compiled by TicketNews.
Beginning this weekend’s onsales are tickets to Jeff Dunham’s upcoming “Controlled Chaos” tour. Dunham, who is one of the more popular comedians, is best known for his ventriloquism act. Star of several Comedy Central specials, Dunham has sold more than seven million DVDs of these specials in addition to routinely selling out his comedy tours. Dates are on sale today for his upcoming shows in Hartford, Toronto, Indianapolis, and Baltimore.
Also among the weekend onsales are tickets to several tour stops on Paul Simon’s latest tour. A music legend from both his solo career and his early work as half of Simon & Garfunkel, Simon’s “So Beautiful or So What 2011 Tour” will likely include his more recent songs in addition to his classic Simon & Garfunkel pieces. Dates for the upcoming fall tour on sale throughout the weekend include stops in Detroit, Chicago, and Columbus, OH.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra has additional fall and winter tour dates among the weekend’s onsales as well. The progressive rock group, who are known for their new adaptations of classic holiday music, remain one of the most popular holiday acts. Their concerts are known for being particularly elaborate, with complex lights and full orchestras supporting the music. Shows on sale include concerts in Atlanta, Oklahoma City, and San Antonio.
Finally this weekend, tickets to the upcoming UFC 139 event is among today’s onsales. Currently on the main card are match-ups between Mauricio Rua and Dan Henderson at light heavyweight and Wanderlei Silva and Cung Le at middleweight. UFC 139 will take place on November 19, and will be in San Jose for the first time in UFC history.
