Fresh off their successful 2011 holiday concert tour, Trans-Siberian Orchestra has tickets for their upcoming 2012 spring tour on sale throughout the weekend ending December 26, as compiled by TicketNews.

One of the world’s most popular holiday acts, Trans-Siberian Orchestra will be embarking on a tour this coming spring in promotion of their “Beethoven’s Last Night” album that was first performed in its full form in 2010.

A rock opera, the piece tells the fictional story of Beethoven’s last night, wherein he is visited by Mephistopheles in a quest to claim his soul. Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s first U.S. tour of the piece occurred in the spring of 2011. Tickets for this leg of the tour go on sale today for the stop in Oklahoma.

Also among today’s onsales are tickets to an upcoming concert from Lenny Kravitz in New York City’s Radio City Music Hall.

In addition to maintaining his music following, Kravitz has also expanded his repertoire to include acting. Most recently, Kravitz was cast in a pivotal role in the upcoming adaption of the massive hit trilogy “The Hunger Games,” which is set to be released in theaters in spring of 2012.

Finally, tickets went on sale yesterday for an upcoming concert from Tool. The alternative rockers will be playing an upcoming show in Texas. The band, who have been making music for nearly 25 years, are rumored to be working on their long awaited fifth studio album.

“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
