New tours from Daughtry and Maná and a few new Elton John concerts are all included in the daily tour recap for January 17, as compiled by TicketNews.

Elton John has booked some additional U.S. shows to complement his on-going residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV. The iconic rock pianist has Vegas stints scheduled from February 9-18 and April 13-19. In between, he’ll complete at least four shows down South: March 7 at James Brown Arena in Augusta, GA; March 9 at BankAtlantic Center in Sunrise, FL; March 10 at Amway Center in Orlando, FL; and March 13 at Germain Arena in Estero, FL. Public ticket sales have already started at the BankAtlantic Center. The three remaining onsales open January 20-21.

Daughtry, led by former “American Idol” contestant Chris Daughtry, has announced an itinerary for the spring Break the Spell Tour. The band hits the road March 20 at Shea’s Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, NY, and concludes the venture April 30 at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, NY. Highlights on the month-long calendar include shows on March 24 at Massey Hall in Toronto, ON; March 31 at the Palace Theatre in Louisville, KY; April 11 at Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, FL; and April 24 at the Performing Arts Center in Newark, NY. Initial ticket sales start January 27, according to Ticketmaster.com.

Maná took the nation by storm when it launched its first stateside tour in four years for summer 2011. Now the Latin rock band is returning for the 2012 leg of its Drama y Luz Tour, which consists of 17 concerts. The U.S. outing begins April 3 at State Farm Arena in Hidalgo, TX, and concludes May 11 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL. Among other dates, Maná is scheduled to perform April 10 at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY; April 13 at Allstate Arena in Chicago, IL; and April 27 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA. Onsale information was not yet available for the tour as of 4 p.m. on January 17.

Esperanza Spalding toured with Prince on and off last year. Now the jazz bassist has lined up her own spring tour. Seventeen performances — including a few jazz festivals — are scheduled from April 18 at the Center for the Arts in Buffalo, NY, through June 30 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga Springs, NY. Regular concerts along the way include an April 21 gig at Webster Hall in New York, NY, and an April 27 show at The Music Box in Los Angeles, CA. Her festival plans include the New Orleans Jazz Fest (May 3) and Ottawa Jazz Fest (June 27).

Korn recently announced a second leg of tour dates for its ongoing Path of Totality Tour. Eight performances are confirmed for the new U.S. venture, which currently is scheduled to run from February 23 at the Fillmore in Detroit, MI, through March 4 at the Warfield Theater in San Francisco, CA. Other national event dates include a February 24 event at Congress Theater in Chicago, IL, and a March 2 concert at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, AZ. Frontman Jonathan Davis and the rest of the band will then move on to Europe for tour dates in March and April. Initial onsales for the U.S. tour begin January 20 via LiveNation.com.
