Just a few months after releasing their seventh album, Nickelback has 30 upcoming concert dates on sale throughout the weekend ending January 23, as compiled by TicketNews.
One of the most successful Canadian bands of all time, Nickelback has sold over 50 million albums worldwide. The alternative rockers will be embarking on their tour in support of their album, “Here and Now,” with fellow rockers Seether and Bush. Dates on sale this weekend include shows in New York City, Dallas, and Chicago.
Also among this weekend’s onsales are tickets to upcoming concerts from Elton John. One of the most prolific singer-songwriters of the past 40 years, John has charted over 50 songs on the Billboard Top 40 along with winning every conceivable musical honor. Concerts on sale this weekend include shows in Orlando and Estero, FL.
This weekend also has tickets to two upcoming concerts from British rockers Coldplay. Tickets are on sale today for the band’s benefit concert in Los Angeles, and on sale Saturday for their upcoming concert in Charlotte.
Tickets for the 2012 Bamboozle Festival go on sale Saturday. The festival, annually held in New Jersey, is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this year with headliners Blink-182, Foo Fighters, and New Jersey’s own Bon Jovi.
Also of note is that the line-up for the upcoming Super Bowl XLVI will be finalized this Sunday. Ticket sales for the February 5 game should spike Sunday evening.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
