Tickets to the upcoming National Football League season are among the onsales for the weekend ending August 6 as compiled by TicketNews®.
First, tickets are on sale Friday, August 3, for the Tennessee Titans home football season. The Titans showed marked improvement last year, tying for the final AFC playoff spot. Unfortunately, the Titans lost the tie-breaker and just barely missed their opportunity to play in the postseason.
Among the Saturday, August 4, onsales are tickets to the Arizona Cardinals upcoming season. The Cardinals rebounded in 2011 from a disastrous 2010 season, but only recorded a .500 record and missed the playoffs for the second year in a row. Also among the onsales for Saturday are tickets for the San Diego Chargers 2012 season. The Chargers dealt with a disappointing finish to last season, losing a tie-breaker to the Denver Broncos and failing to make the playoffs. The Chargers remain poised for a play-off run in 2012.
This weekend’s concert onsales begin with tickets to three upcoming concerts from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Springsteen, who released his first studio album in nearly 13 years in April of 2012, has upcoming concerts in Kansas City, MO; University Park, PA; and St. Paul, MN among the weekend onsales.
Also among the concert onsales this weekend are tickets to an upcoming stop on the Twins of Evil Tour. Featuring Marilyn Manson and Rob Zombie, the tour’s upcoming concert in Mankato, MN is on sale Saturday. Tickets are on sale Friday for an upcoming concert stop from Jack White in New York City, NY.
Rounding out the weekend’s onsales are tickets to this fall’s MTV Video Music Awards. The VMAs will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA, and feature performances from today’s top musical artists.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
