Summary by TicketNews Staff

Veritix’s® digital ticketing system, Flash Seats®, made history when over 60,000 people used the service to attend the 2013 NCAA Men’s Final Four semi-final and championship games. Although the system has been used in the past for student ticketing, digital entry was expanded to include: all tickets available to the general public, tickets on the NCAA ticket exchange, tickets distributed to coaches, and tickets distributed through the NCAA’s random selection process. This resulted in the use of Flash Seats by about half of those in attendance and marked the most significant event for the digital ticketing platform to date. PRNewswire.com has more details of this event in a press release.
