PRESS RELEASE: Ticketbud Offers Free Service To All Cancer Fundraisers
AUSTIN, TX – TICKETBUD, the online ticketing solution, announces all cancer fundraisers have completely free access to the Ticketbud platform. To date, through the use of Ticketbud approximately $180,000 has been raised by cancer fundraising organizations. More information on the waiver process can be found using the following link.
Ticketbud is completely free for any event raising funds for a cancer charity, organization or individual, no matter how large the event. Ticketbud is proud to work with cancer charities all over the world and has provided free services to a host of organizations throughout the U.S., Canada, England and beyond. As one of the company’s founding principles, Ticketbud has pledged their service to help those fighting cancer by allowing them to utilize 100% of all funds raised for their own purposes. Ticketbud recognizes those funds would be better spent on hospital bills, patient therapy or research for a cure.
“Special events are the heart of the Ellie Fund’s fundraising activities,” says Hillary McManama, Ellie Fund Events Manager. “It is critical that our event and ticket processing sites accurately reflect the quality of our events. Ticketbud has enabled us to save on costs while best promoting our events. We are proud to partner with Ticketbud in our joint mission to fight breast cancer.”
Ticketbud was originally created in 2009 as a tool for nonprofits and charities to host and sell tickets to their events without having to pay exorbitant per-ticket fees. All other event organizers not with cancer fundraisers who use Ticketbud pay only a flat rate of $99 per event with no additional fees taken from ticket sales. While the popularity and effectiveness of our model has grown to service events of all industries and backgrounds on a global scale, our commitment still lies in helping charities of all sizes retain event proceeds. Ticketbud also donates to the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR).
“As an investor and employee of Ticketbud, it is deeply meaningful to be a part of an organization that is so authentic in its support of cancer fundraisers,” says Ticketbud CEO Lynn Yeldell. “Since its inception, Ticketbud has never charged a cancer fundraiser to use its services and remains committed to ensure that these fundraisers’ profits continue to fully support patients and research for a cure.”
