The company would rather control the secondary market through its own sites Get Me In! and Seatwave than leave it to third-party sites.

A report by The Sunday Times pointed out that Ticketmaster allowed the resale of Adele tickets although it was aware “that there was a small risk customers who bought tickets from Get Me In! might not gain entry.”

This risk is due to Adele’s team ensuring the buyer’s name to be printed on each ticket and identity checks being carried out at the venue entrance, requiring “government-issued identification.”
