Market Heat Report: Paul McCartney Rockets to No. 1 

Ironically, the top seller on America’s Independence Day was a famous Brit, as Paul McCartney’s show on Monday, July 10^th in Tampa took the No. 1 spot in TicketNetwork sales for Tuesday, July 4, 2017.

The former Beatle was one of only two concerts in the Top 10, which was dominated by sports events, including three 4^th of July baseball games and the MLB All Star Home Run Derby on Monday, which will likely have fireworks of an entirely different sort. Wimbledon’s men’s semifinals came in at the No. 2 spot, with Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin’s title fight in September at No. 3.

Hamilton’s December 2^nd show in Chicago came in at No. 7, followed by Pentatonix and the 4^th of July Fireworks at Hollywood Bowl.
