The punk-rockers of blink-182 are hitting the road this summer with rapper Lil Wayne for a diverse, co-headlining run across the U.S.
The Live Nation-produced show will kick-off in Columbus, Ohio at Nationwide Arena, followed by shows at Hartford’s XFINITY Theatre, Pennsylvania’s Hershey Park Stadium, the Darien Lake Amphitheatre in New York, and Charlotte’s PNC Music Pavilion. They’ll make stops in cities like San Diego, Portland, Salt Lake City, Denver, and Kansas City before wrapping up at the Riverbend Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 16. The pop-punk band Neck Deep will provide support throughout the trek.
While the pairing seems unlikely, it is similar to rock group Fall Out Boy’s Boys of Zummer Tour in 2015 with rapper Wiz Khalifa. In a tour announcement, the two artists released a video with a mash-up of their hits “What’s My Age Again?” and “A Milli.” Although their music is vastly different, they both are champions within their own genres, releasing hit after hit over the past two decades.

blink-182 returned to the music scene in 2016 after a five-year hiatus with California, featuring hits “Bored To Death” and “She’s Out of Her Mind.” The group, which will also appear at the 25-year anniversary of Vans Warped Tour this summer, rose to fame with late ’90s tracks like Enema Of The State‘s “All The Small Things” and “What’s My Age Again?” along with “First Date” off 2001’s Take Off Your Pants and Jacket and “I Miss You” from their 2003 self-titled.
Lil Wayne will be touring in support of Tha Carter V, his 2018 record known for singles “In This House,” “Hasta La Vista,” and “What About Me” with Sosamann, along with “Mona Lisa” featuring Kendrick Lamar. Wayne’s previous album, I Am Not A Human Being II, dropped back in 2013 and followed a string of hit records like 2011’s Tha Carter IV, 2009’s Rebirth, and 2002’s 500 Degrees. He quickly garnered attention with the 2008 smash-hit track “Lollipop” and “A Milli,” as well as 2009’s “Drop The World” and 2014’s “Grindin.”
