The rockers of Deep Purple are staying on the road for another leg of their ongoing “Long Goodbye Tour,” hitting more dates across the U.S. this fall.

The trek first kicked-off in 2017, and while its dubbed as a farewell tour, they’re not quite done yet. They’ll begin the eighth leg of the run on September 3 in Riverside, California, followed by gigs in Denver, New Orleans, Orlando, Reno, Washington, D.C., and Philadelphia. Along the 33-date outing, they will stop at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena, Detroit’s Fox Theatre, Orpheum Hall in Boston, and Las Vegas’ House of Blues before wrapping-up at The Armory in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Deep Purple’s current lineup includes founding drummer Ian Paice, longtime members Ian Gillan and bassist Roger Glover, as well as newer members: guitarist Steve Moore and keyboardist Don Airey. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, known for rock classics like 1972’s “Smoke On The Water” and “Highway Star,” released their 20th studio album, Infinite, in 2017. The LP follows 2013’s Now What?! and 2005’s Rapture of the Deep. Back in the ’60’s, the group garnered attention with their debut Shades of Deep Purple, The Book of Taliesyn, and their self-titled, and continued with the smash-hit Machine Head, which dropped in 1972.
