Billie Eilish Shows Upgrade To Larger Venues To Meet Demand

Billie Eilish, the 17-year-old goth pop star, has quickly risen to fame this year. She transformed from the “Ocean Eyes” singer to the No. 2 streaming artist on Spotify – falling only behind Ed Sheeran – following the release of her debut album. Now, venues on her ongoing When We All Fall Asleep Tour are being upgraded to meet the high demand.

Late last month, fans were frustrated when Eilish’s Chicago show at the Aragon Ballroom, a 5,000-capacity venue, moved to the 23,500-seat United Center. While many ticketholders had purchased floor seats to the show and were ready for an up-close experience, they were reassigned new seats in random sections throughout the center. Now, fans across Europe will face the same issue as all venues will be upgraded. Eilish’s team noted in a tweet that additional tickets will go on sale, and previously purchased tickets would be redeemable. Additionally, ticketholders would have the option to receive an upgrade.
