Country stars Keith Urban, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, and Luke Combs are joining forces for the ATL Live benefit concert this fall.
The artists will perform during a three-day long show, set to take place from November 15-17 at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Keith Urban will open the gig on Friday with Blake Shelton, followed by Eric Church and Luke Combs closing the event on Sunday; at this time, Saturday’s performers have not been announced. Throughout the weekend, Sam Hunt, Sugarland, Judah and the Lion, Brothers Osborne, and Caylee Hammack.
ATL Live will raise money for veterans groups and fight homelessness throughout Atlanta. Funds will benefit the Johnnie Mac Soldier’s Fund, which provides scholarships to veterans, military family members, and children whose parents are disabled or deceased veterans, as well as the Quest Community Development Organization, a program that provides community service throughout the city and offers affordable housing.
“Given the timeliness of the concerts in between Veterans Day and Thanksgiving, we wanted to impact charity organizations that tie in with those holidays,” Tim Zulawski, chief revenue officer for AMB Sports and Entertainment, said, noting that he hopes the festival will become an annual event, depending on the availability of the Falcons and United F.C. He also would like to be in the business of self-promoting a few major concerts each year.
“As long as the talents out there and the market wants it, we will go forward and try to bring the best shows to Atlanta,” Zulawski said. “We’re all in and have had great support from everyone.”
Arthur Blank’s AMB Sports and Entertainment, the parent company for the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United F.C., is producing the show with support from the Arthur Blank Foundation. Since its inception, the ABF has donated more than $400 million to charity. Blank, the co-founder of Home Depot, bought the Falcons in 2001.
