Billie Eilish – the 17-year-old goth pop star – has quickly risen to fame in a short amount of time. Now, as she heads out onto her second round of tour dates supporting her debut record, fans are stuck unsuccessfully vying for presale tickets through Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program.
Presale tickets to Eilish’s Where Do We Go? Tour went on sale this morning at 10 a.m. Fans who signed up as a part of Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan program could only purchase tickets if they were lucky enough to score a presale code, however, issues arose during the presale that left thousands of fans in the dust.
Fans took to Twitter to share their experiences, noting that they were either locked out of the presale, were kicked out of the queue, or received error messages about the presale being delayed. Others received an email that they could purchase tickets in the presale but did not receive a code, while some were “waitlisted.”

Ticketmaster took to Twitter to apologize, noting that Verified Fans will have the chance to purchase tickets tomorrow ahead of the general public onsale.
Billie Eilish Fans: We sincerely apologize for the issues during today’s presale. We will ensure that all Verified Fans are able to purchase tickets prior to tomorrow’s public onsale.

However, this leaves many questions up in the air. Will general admission tickets be up-for-grabs still? Can those who were unable to get floor seats exchange their seats for general admission? Will those wait-listed now have a chance to vie for tickets? At this time, it is unknown when or how other Verified Fans will have the chance to access these tickets ahead of the general sale.
This is yet another struggle for Eilish’s fans following her first round of tour dates in support of When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, which dropped earlier this year. Eilish’s When We All Fall Asleep Tour garnered massive attention, causing her management team to upgrade venues. Fans who purchased floor seats at Chicago’s Aragon Ballroom were randomly assigned new seats in the back of the United Center, causing chaos.
As the “Bad Guy” star becomes more and more popular, it seems that these issues will continue to come up.
