Kanye West held another Sunday service concert this past weekend, but fans who paid $55 for an unsatisfying meal are wondering if the free concert was worth it.
West has been holding Sunday service concerts since January. When he stopped by Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, fans were excited to catch a free concert from the singer. However, those who purchased VIP tickets, dubbed “Brunchella,” are not impressed with the meal they received at such a high cost. People complained that the brunch – which included a small portion of pancakes, bacon, and sausage – was not worth the price.
The food looks awful at #Brunchella but the orange juice sitting out with water still in the cases has me dying. Y’all paid $55 for this?! ???? https://t.co/4sRlPyQXBR

In addition to the food, people are complaining that those who purchased VIP tickets were not able to move closer to the stage, noting that organizers reportedly said that they were not able to make the general admission guests push back.
#Brunchella VIP was a scam, ????. How do I get my money back?!

Like they really had us hanging out on a hill away from the stage, promised we’d be ushered in later, only to hit us with “nope.” ???! They even had the white folks HOT, one guy kept throwing around his law degree ??. They just need to process refunds quickly. #Brunchella pic.twitter.com/rhWt3wVNEQ

According to TODAY, Lauryn’s FIne Catering was hired 28 hours before the event and the brunch option was set up by the organizers of Affiliate Nations Events. West, nor Bethany Church accepted any money for hosting the concert. Approximately 10,000 people were in attendance at the show – 7,000 caught the performance for free.
There has been no word on refunds at this time.
