Following in the footsteps of American Idol and Dancing With The Stars that came before it, The Masked Singer is the latest competition series to launch a national tour.

The trek, which is presented by Live Nation, gets underway May 28 in Detroit and runs through August 1, where it will conclude in Los Angeles. The participating contestants – who currently remain unknown – will hit more than 45 U.S. cities in that time. Notable stops along the way include Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Chicago’s Rosemont Theatre plus stages in Pittsburgh, Orlando, Las Vegas, Indianapolis and New Orleans.

According to the tour’s website, each show will feature a “mystery celebrity” in costume that will sing and eventually be unmasked. These special guests will appear alongside two hosts who were former contestants on the zany singing series.

Season three of The Masked Singer is currently airing Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox. Costumes for the latest batch of secret singers include The Mouse, The Banana and The Robot. The show has teased that its current crop of contestants have a combined 69 Grammy nominations, 11 Super Bowl appearances, three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and even a title in the Guinness Book of World Records.
