The musical first made an appearance on the Broadway stage in 1963 under the title “Here’s Love,” featuring performances by Janis Paige, Laurence Naismith, Craig Stevens, and Valerie Lee. Although its Broadway run concluded in July 1964, the production went on a brief tour later that year.
In 2018, the show received a revival at the Kodak Center Theater in Rochester, New York. Jim Vollersten, founder of Premier Theater Productions, spearheaded the reimagining after noticing a demand from audiences.
“Miracle on 34th Street” tells the story of Susan Walker, a young girl whose skepticism about Santa Claus is challenged by the appearance of a mysterious Macy’s department store Santa.
Additional casting and tour dates are expected to be announced soon.
