The Allman Brothers Band has canceled its upcoming Bonnaroo performance June 12-15. The news comes on the heels of previously announced canceled or postponed engagements while Gregg Allman receives treatments for Hepatitis C.

The band recently postponed its annual residency of 15 shows at New York’s Beacon Theatre, May 5-24, and also canceled their performances at the Wanee Festival in Live Oak, FL that they host every year, which was held April 11-12. However, the Allman Brothers Band members jammed at Wanee with Ratdog’s Bob Weir, Jay Lane, Jeff Chimenti, Mark Karan; Gov’t Mule’s Matt Abts and Andy Hess; Chuck Garvey from moe., Gregg’s son Devon Allman (who performed with his band Honeytribe), Karl Denson, Ron Holloway, Ronnie and Robbie McCoury and others.

“I need to be at 110 percent to do the shows the way we do them,” Allman said in a statement. “I can’t tell you how much I appreciate the support and understanding my brothers and our fans have given me.”

Bonnaroo organizers have tapped Widespread Panic to replace the Allman Brothers Band at the festival.
