Actor Andy García sings, too, and his 12-member CineSon All-Stars ensemble will perform at Nokia Theatre LA Live in Los Angeles, CA on December 26 as a special opening act for comedian George Lopez, who will be appearing in the third of his record-setting seven-show engagement.

The first two shows (December 19-20) sold out. Tickets for December 26 are still available through Ticketmaster at the Nokia Theatre LA Live box office and the box office at Team LA at Universal CityWalk.

García, who has had a love for music since childhood and has appeared professionally with some of the worlds best-known Latin musicians for over 15 years, produced and performed on Volumes I and II of “Cachao: Master Sessions,” the first a 1994 Grammy Award winner, and the latter a 1995 Grammy Award nominee.

“I am looking forward to sharing the traditions of the music that Cachao and I so deeply cherished, as it our desire, The CineSon All-Stars, to continue to honor him,” said García in a statement. “And what better venue and company than with my dear friend and comedic wizard, Mr. George Lopez.”

“Andy García is one of my closest friends, he is an amazing actor and a fantastic musician, so I thought, and how can I make a good night a great night…I’ll add Andy García,” added George Lopez.

As a follow-up to six sold-out shows a year ago, Lopez has returned to Nokia Theatre LA Live for a seven show engagement, including a New Year’s Eve performance. In his own unique and hysterical style, Lopez shares his observations and reflections on life and growing up in a Mexican-American community and household.
