As he enters the final weeks of his summer trek, iconic musician Bob Dylan has announced the first dates of a new West Coast tour. The fall outing currently includes seven performances in four cities, beginning October 5 at WaMu Theatre in Seattle, WA.

Dylan is also slated to take the stage on October 7 at Memorial Coliseum in Portland, OR, after which he has a couple multi-night engagements lined up for October 10-11 at the Greek Theatre in Berkeley, CA, and October 13-15 at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA.

All seven presales opened today, August 3, at 10 a.m. local time. Public onsales are scheduled for August 10 in Seattle and Portland, August 14 in Los Angeles, and August 16 in Berkeley. Presale passwords and other general information are available at Dylan’s official Web site.

Although only four cities are on Dylan’s fall tour map, additional concert dates for the western U.S. will be announced in the future. It is unclear whether Dylan’s plans will include other regions of the states or stay focused in the west.

Dylan is currently on the road with fellow songwriting legend Willie Nelson and arena rock veteran John Mellencamp. The trio launched their tour of U.S. ballparks and stadiums in early July and remain on the road together through mid-August.

The 68-year-old Dylan is touring behind his 33rd studio album, “Together Through Life,” which was released on April 28. The record received high marks from most critics and topped the charts in more than a dozen countries around the world.
