Rock band Disturbed’s fourth album “Indestructible” is the best-selling album in the country this week, debuting atop the Billboard Top 200 album chart at No. 1 and racking up sales of more than 253,000 copies in the U.S. alone. Disturbed is now on tour in Europe and will kick off a co-headlining stint on this summer’s Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival beginning July 9 in Seattle and concluding on August 19 in Buffalo, NY.

“Indestructible’s” first-week figures have surpassed the first-week total sales of the band’s previous No. 1 release, 2005’s “Ten Thousand Fists” by more than 15,000 units. Disturbed self-produced the album, which is the Chicago quartet’s third consecutive No. 1 album making them one of only six other rock bands in history to earn three straight No. 1 debuts with studio albums.

The band’s two previous platinum albums, 2002’s “Believe” and 2005’s “Ten Thousand Fists,” both debuted at No. 1. Disturbed’s 2000 debut album, “The Sickness,” has been certified triple-platinum by the R.I.A.A. with sales closing in on 4 million. Formed in Chicago in 1996, Disturbed has sold a collective 10 million albums worldwide.
