The 13th annual Electric Daisy Carnival, held at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum & Exposition Park on June 26-27, attracted a total of 135,000 people; 45,000 on the first day and 90,000 on the second.

The June 27th show was one of the largest single days for a music festival in the United States. Paul van Dyk, David Guetta, Benny Benassi, Groove Armada, Kaskade and James Zabiela performed to the largest audiences they ever had in America.

The electric dance music event had massive lighting displays throughout the Coliseum, non-stop firework displays each night and free carnival rides on the field in the stadium itself as well as throughout Exposition Park.

Founded by Pasquale Rotella of Insomniac Events in 1996, Electric Daisy Carnival has become a staple of the West Coast’s electronic music culture. Moby, Above & Beyond, Deep Dish, Hernan Cattaneo, Pendulum, Ferry Corsten, Junkie XL, Sandra Collins, Jurassic 5, Armand Van Helden, Rabbit in the Moon and many more have performed at the event over the years.
