The wrath of Hurricane Ike continues to take its toll on some Houston events and venues. The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion at The Woodlands in Spring, TX, a suburb of Houston, has been closed temporarily due to damage caused by the hurricane.

All September performances at the venue have either been postponed or cancelled, including an October date. 3 Doors Down (September 21) has been postponed, while Houston Symphony’s Music of Mozart (September 19), Santana (September 20), Robert Plant and Alison Krauss (September 26), and Brad Paisley with Jewel and Chuck Wicks (October 17) have been cancelled.

Refunds will be credited automatically to the credit card of those who purchased tickets via livenation.com or ticketmaster.com for cancelled events. Refunds are available at the point of purchase for the remainder of ticket holders.

Two concerts are still on the books for October: the Houston Ballet (October 2) and the Music Builds Tour with Switchfoot, Third Day, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, and Jars of Clay (October 3).
