Jakob Dylan is set for his first solo tour starting May 17 in San Francisco, CA and ending September 26 in Austin, TX. More shows are expected to be added.
Dylan, the youngest son of the iconic Bob Dylan, is supporting his new album, “Seeing Things,” due June 10 on Columbia Records and Starbucks Entertainment. Produced by Rick Rubin at his home studio in the Hollywood Hills, Dylan’s raw and dynamic performance on this mostly acoustic album reflects the continuation of Rick’s spare and compelling production work.
Along the tour, Dylam will make appearances for tapings of various shows including ETown, Mountain Stage, Wood Songs, Austin City Limits as well as a performance on the “Late Show With David Letterman” on June 11 and “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on July 15. Dylan will be joined on tour with his new touring band, The Gold Mountain Rebels.
The status of Dylan’s other group, The Wallflowers, which he formed in 1989, is unknown.
