More fall concert dates are being unveiled for Jamie Foxx as the Academy Award-winning actor’s Blame It Tour continues its summer-long circuit across the United States. The extensive outing picks up tonight, August 28, at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, FL, and rolls on through the new October 16-17 run at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Foxx’s updated itinerary features about a dozen new bookings, including extended stays at a couple venues across the country. In addition to his tour closing two-night stand on the West Coast, the singer will take the stage on September 5-6 at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta, GA, and September 25-26 at the Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie, TX.

15 for $15 with Napster! Some of the other recent additions include an upcoming performance on August 31 at Carol Morsani Hall in Tampa, FL, a September 27 gig at AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX, and an October 9 concert at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV.

Before its mid-summer launch, the lengthy outing was initially billed as the Intuition Tour, borrowing its name from Foxx’s most recent studio album, released in December 2008. The tour has since transitioned to the official “Blame It” moniker after the album’s hit single, which peaked at No. 2 on Billboard Hot 100 and spent more than 25 weeks on the chart.

Foxx’s original summer tour plans ran from early July through his September 25 show in Grand Prairie, TX. The actor-musician has already completed nearly 30 performances this year; his tour was originally projected to last for about 50 dates in full.
