A perennial favorite on the country touring circuit, musician Kenny Chesney has announced the full itinerary, including venues, for his Sun City Carnival Tour. The 45-city venture kicks off with an April 17-18 two-night stand at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, and continues through September 19 at Lucas Oil Stadium Indianapolis, IN.

The extensive tour will complete several coast-to-coast circuits during its nearly 20-week run. Stops along the way include an April 26 appearance at the Stagecoach country music festival in Indio, CA, a May 22 concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD, a June 13 concert at Soldier Field in Chicago, IL, a July 18 performance at AT&T Park in San Francisco, and an August 15 show at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA.

The trek isn’t restricted to the United States and will make several stops across the border in Canada, as well. Scheduled shows in the provinces include a July 10 concert at the Exhibition Grounds in Calgary, AB, and an August 20 set at The Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, ON.

Earlier this month, Chesney unveiled initial summer tour plans, but did not confirm dates beyond early August or announce venues. Up-and-coming country acts Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum will open for the entire trek.

The Sun City Carnival tour supports Chesney’s October 2008 release, “Lucky Old Sun.” The album, Chesney’s twelfth studio effort, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and on the country albums chart. Overall, the musician has sold more than 22.5 million records in the U.S. since he debuted in 1994.
