The iconic, and often outlandish, glam metal band is officially riding off into the sunset [strip], as today marks the beginning of ticket sales for Mötley Crüe’s final tour. Formed in Los Angeles, California in 1981, members Nikki Sixx, Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, and Vince Neil rose to international fame in the mid to late 80’s, selling over 100 million records worldwide and 25 million in the US. The group is looking to make some magic one last time with a trip around North America, bringing Alice Cooper along for the ride. The tour kicks off on the US west coast, seeing periodic stops in both Canada and Mexico as well. The final three performances will take place in their hometown of Los Angeles, CA, with the final show capping off the year 2015 on New Year’s Eve. The schedule is as follows:
