Everyone knows that Ticketmaster has long been known as the Goliath of the primary ticketing industry, especially in the United States and Canada, but recent emerging companies such as TicketFly, TicketSwell, and Evenbrite have come to the table to grab a piece of the pie. These new companies often offer more attentive, small company, customer service, lower service fees, and are more open with their clients regarding information about their customer base’s habits. While Ticketmaster does not currently feel any of the loss from the new ticketing businesses springing up around them, they are gaining traction. Perhaps in the future, there will be more than one big fish in the ticketing ocean.
