Prince still rules. One step closer in his attempt to be the first artist to perform at all three L.A. Live venues in one day, the eclectic performer sold out his first show at Nokia Theatre in 7.7 minutes with the other two shows selling out shortly after that, according to promoter Goldenvoice.

Tickets for the unprecedented March 28 concerts at the Nokia Theatre, the Conga Room and Club Nokia went on sale on Saturday, March 22. Goldenvoice did not announce how many tickets in total were released and sold for the three shows.

As previously reported, Prince will perform the three full-length concerts in each of the L.A. Live venues in support of the March 24 launch of his new interactive member-based Web site LotusFlow3r.com and the upcoming release of his three new studio albums — “LOtUSFLOW3r,” “MPLSoUND” and “Elixer”– sold exclusively at Target and Target.com on March 29. The latter CD is a collaboration with his new protégé Bria Valente.

The new Web site will offer fans exclusive content including digital downloads, concert tickets, sneak peaks at upcoming events, live concert footage, exclusive imagery from past albums and other exclusive photos for an annual membership fee of $77.
