Prince’s second show at the Oracle Arena takes place tonight, February 23, but it won’t be the last chance West Coast audiences have to catch the Purple One in concert this week.

Though last week’s original last-minute concert announcement included just two dates, a third night has been added to the Welcome 2 America concert series in Oakland, CA. The latest of the late-breaking shows is set for tomorrow, February 24.

Ticket sales for the February 24 concert began yesterday. Pre-fee ticket prices range from $47.25 up to $238, based on current Ticketmaster.com listings.

The Purple One’s first Oakland show took place Monday, February 21, a little more than 72 hours after public onsales began. At that time, more than 30,000 tickets had already been sold to Prince’s first two nights at the Oracle, according to the San Francisco Bay Guardian.

During Monday night’s performance, Carlos Santana made a guest appearance on stage. Special guest Sheila E. and opening act Larry Graham (of Sly & The Family Stone) are scheduled to perform all dates of the Oracle run.

Prince debuted his Welcome 2 America concert tour on the East Coast with December 15 and 17 concerts at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, NJ, and later shows at Madison Square Garden on December 18 and 29, January 18 and February 7.

Various artists performed during the course of the six East Coast shows, including Cassandra Wilson, Maceo Parker and Sinbad. Several other celebrities — with Alicia Keys and ?uestlove counted among them — were in attendance for those early Welcome 2 America concerts.
