Rothbury Festival organizers AEG Live and Madison House Presents have put together an eclectic line-up for the festival’s second year that includes The Dead, Bob Dylan, The String Cheese Incident, Willie Nelson & Family and The Black Crowes. More than 60 artists will perform July 2-5 at the Double JJ Ranch in Rothbury, MI.

Also on the bill are Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and Nas, STS9, G. Love & Special Sauce, Gov’t Mule, Broken Social Scene, Yonder Mountain String Band, The Disco Biscuits, Les Claypool, Ani DiFranco, Cold War Kids, Matisyahu, Guster, Zappa Plays Zappa, King Sunny Ade & His African Beats and many others with more to be announced in the coming months.

Tickets go on sale March 20. A March 14 pre-sale has already sold out. Rothbury is one of several festivals this summer offering a layaway ticket program.

Last year’s inaugural event, which attracted an estimated 40,000 people, featured Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, John Mayer, 311, Phil Lesh and Friends, Trey Anastasio (including a mini-reunion of Phish) and Primus.

This year’s festival got a delayed green light in February after months of speculation as to its survival.
