Solo musician John Vesely, who performs under the stage name Secondhand Serenade, will make the rounds with his touring band this fall on the headlining Fast Times at Secondhand High Tour. The first leg of the trek kicks off September 3 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV.

More than 20 dates have been booked across the U.S. and Canada for the early fall outing, and additional concerts are forthcoming. Some of the current highlights include a September 6 show at Sunshine Theatre in Albuquerque, NM, a September 12 performance at The Masquerade in Altanta, GA, a September 23 gig at Blender Theatre at Gramercy in New York, NY, and an October 2 event at Sokol Auditorium Underground in Omaha, NE.

Vesely and his backing musicians will head north of the border for a single performance on September 25 at Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto, ON.

Support for the entire tour will be provided by Virginia-based indie band Parachute, along with singer-songwriter Evan Taubenfeld, who is releasing his debut album in August and previously toured with Avril Lavigne as her lead guitarist. The lineup also includes a new act out of Nashville called The Rust.

Presale tickets are already available for the Secondhand tour, and public onsales begin tomorrow, July 11. For the first time, Vesely is offering a limited number of VIP tickets for each night of the tour. The packages, limited to 30 per show, include a meet and greet, autographed poster and tour laminate.

“You know I’m gonna have a few things up my sleeve and will definitely be playing a couple of brand new songs that will be on the next album,” Vesely also revealed on Secondhand Serenade’s official MySpace, “so if you wanna get a special sneak preview of it, don’t miss the show!”

Secondhand Serenade’s third studio album, “Partly Liars,” is tentatively scheduled for release in 2010, according to an interview with Kerrang! magazine. For now, Vesely is continuing to support his February 2008 sophomore release “A Twist in My Story,” which debuted and peaked at No. 44 on the Billboard 200.
