Perhaps one of contemporary music’s most iconic performances will be progressive rock supergroup UKZ‘s One City World Tour at Town Hall in New York City on January 24 with special guest Stick Men. Tickets for the event have face values ranging from $60 to $125.

Keyboardist and electric violinist Eddie Jobson (UK, Roxy Music, Zappa) is the leader of UKZ, which will make its debut at Town Hall. The concert will follow the January 6 digital pre-release of UKZ band’s debut EP “Radiation,” which will be released nationally on March 24.

Returning from a self-imposed 27-year retirement from band and touring activity, Jobson set out to find the same caliber of next-generation musicians for the new UKZ project that would equal or surpass the talents of his previous colleagues and collaborator, an impressive list that includes Frank Zappa, Robert Fripp, Bill Bruford, Phil Collins, John Entwistle, Ian Anderson, Simon Phillips, Terry Bozzio, Allan Holdsworth, and Tony Levin.

Besides Jobson, UKZ includes Aaron Lippert (former lead singer of Expanding Man), Trey Gunn (a 10-year veteran of King Crimson and the leading exponent of the Warr 10-string touch guitar), Alex Machacek (guitar), and Marco Minnemann (drums).
