Anne Milgram is the Attorney General for the State of New Jersey, and she originally was named as acting Attorney General in 2006. She was officially named to the post in 2007.

Milgram is credited with being the driving force behind a settlement she enticed Ticketmaster to accept in relation to the company’s handling of the sale of Bruce Springsteen tickets in February 2009. Her office had received dozens of complaints from angry fans who said they were redirected from the Ticketmaster Web site to the secondary ticket market resale Web site TicketsNow when they tried to buy tickets for The Boss’s May 2009 concerts in New Jersey. Ticketmaster owns TicketsNow, which resells tickets at a premium, and fans complained that they were fooled by the practice.

Ticketmaster agreed to a $350,000 settlement and gave aggrieved fans a crack at new tickets. The company did not admit any wrongdoing.
